Answers to frequently asked questions are given here
  • You have an inconvenient license payment system. Is it possible to pay in another way?
Yes, the purchase system is not very convenient, but at the moment we can only accept payment in the specified way. We apologize for the inconvenience.
  • What is your pricing policy?
In fact, BrilliantCode for Delphi 7, Brilliant Code for Delphi Berlin and the like are different programs, often with different functionality, but united by the name BrilliantCode. They have separate compilation in different environments, separate code support. Therefore, BrilliantCode for Delphi 7 will not work on Delphi Berlin, the opposite is also true.
Therefore, each Delphi version has its own BrilliantCode. Each of which is paid separately.
Within each Delphi version, further updating of Brilliant Code is free.
  • BrilliantCode was for older versions of Delphi, can I download them now?
The BrilliantCode versions for Delphi 7 - Delphi Alexandria are no longer supported, as they have an outdated code processing algorithm. The new code processing algorithm supports Delphi starting from the Athens version. In older versions of BrilliantCode, code processing cannot be improved, which is why the project was frozen for 4 years. At this stage, there is no point in supporting older versions.
  • Specify the type of license?
When purchasing ONE user license (per user), ONE user receives an indefinite right to use the program on any number of devices (for example, at home, at work and on his mobile laptop).
  • Why is the highlighing slowing down on large files?
Code highlighting works quickly and on large files, highlighting blocks begin..end is a resource-intensive algorithm. Therefore, disable the highlighting of begin..end blocks in the settings.
  • When highlighting begin..end blocks and etc., does the background disappear if the line is the current one?
At the moment, there are two solutions: 1. do not use the background when highlighting, that is, select the standard one 2. disable the Tools\Options\Editor\Language\Highlight current line option
